All teams are required to submit an interim progress report by 6 October 2024 to demonstrate sufficient progress to continue to the final round (presentation/ demo day).
Failure to submit the interim progress report will result in forfeit of the team from the competition.
The following are the interim progress report questions:
Problem and Scope
1. What specific problem is your project addressing?
2. What research have you conducted to understand the problem better?
3. Why is this problem significant? Who does it affect?
4. What existing solutions are available and how do they fall short?
Solution
1. Describe the primary objectives of your project.
2. What are the boundaries of your project (what will the project not address)
3. What assumptions are you making about the problem and its context?
4. Who is your target audience or user base?
5. How did you gather information about the needs and preferences of your target audience?
Progress
6. What have you achieved so far?
7. What part of your project are you currently working on?
8. What are your immediate next steps or milestones?
9. How will you evaluate the success of your project as it progresses?
Challenges
10. What challenges or obstacles have you encountered so far? How did you address these challenges?
11. Do you foresee any potential challenges in the upcoming stages of your project? How do you intend to overcome these challenges?
Resources
12. What resources (tools, data, libraries, etc.) have you utilised so far in your project? How have these resources contributed to your progress?
13. Are there any resources (hardware, software, data, expertise) that you need but currently lack?
